Acquisition Executive / Manager - BD team

We are seeking acquisition executive / assistant manager/ manager to drive business growth, building and maintaining relationships, especially for business cooperation across Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei.

This role requires a strategic approach to secure new contracts, expand coverage, and ensure ongoing maintenance of existing partnerships for media and marketing solution services.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute business strategy to achieve growth targets and expand the inventory coverage for a portfolio of marketing solutions.

  • Have end-to-end ownership of new acquisitions account management

  • Actively identify high-potential prospect partners, lead the contracting process, and focus on both quality and quantity of new contract signings.

  • Build and maintain the existing partnerships, monitor the performance, provide ongoing support, and grow the revenue of the existing portfolio in the assigned market

  • Take a customer-centric approach to everything you do. Ensure content, rates availability and products are aligned with the company objectives and standards, and offer the best value to customers

  • Collaborate with the operations team and other cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless execution of business initiatives

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and opportunities for business development

  • Prepare and present regular reports to senior management, highlighting business performance, challenges, and proposed solutions

  • Other assigned tasks based on business need


Requirements

  • 3 - 7 year of expertise in sales, business development, revenue/yield management in the digital marketing, retail, events, media, SAAS or e-commerce industry

  • Strong sales & negotiation skills and confident with cold callings

  • Fluency in English and, Malay. Candidates who can converse in, Cantonese and Mandarin would have added advantage

  • Very proactive and strong sense of ownership

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels

  • Proactive, creative, innovative, and able to drive and manage change

  • Team player with a driven "get it done" attitude

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

  • Business travel for market visits 30% + of the time

  • Diploma and above
